Snake Road
Located in the Shawnee National Forest in southern Illinois, Snake Road (Forest Road 345) is a 2.5-mile gravel route famous for its bi-annual reptile and amphibian migrations. The US Forest Service closes the road to vehicle traffic during these periods to protect migrating wildlife, while pedestrians are welcome to hike and observe the animals.

Libraries Tornado Recovery
The Julia Davis branch in Penrose and the Cabanne branch in Academy reopened after repairing damage from the May 16th tornado. As a way to help other tornado victims in North City, these branches will now be lending out tools to help community rebuild.

Liv Ciera
A sit-down interview with Liv Ciara, a 16-year-old singer from St. Peters, Missouri, who finished as the runner-up on Season 29 of The Voice on Team Kelly.

Game Nite
Known as a friendly local game store where community can gather to play board games, Game Nite also hosts garage sales every other month to encourage gamers to try new games.

Red Tails Aviation Program
This segment from the Nine PBS special, Flight Check, showcases the Red Tail Cadet Program, a six-week, residential, immersive flight-training experience, designed to introduce students to the aviation industry.

Support provided in part by the Betsy & Thomas O. Patterson Foundation, and with a generous gift from Mrs. and Mr. Theodore P. Desloge Trust, made in memory of Mrs. and Mr. Theodore P. Desloge, Jr.
