For more than 70 years, learning and growth have been at the heart of our mission. Today, Nine PBS supports educators and school leaders across the region by providing resources, connection, and learning opportunities that contribute to student success.
Nine PBS Watch Parties turn watching into active learning. Classrooms across the region tune in around a shared theme, then extend the experience through standards-aligned discussion and hands-on activities. Teachers receive the resources they need ahead of time, making Watch Parties a low-prep way to bring PBS media, classroom learning, and a larger regional experience together.
Each Fall, our Edcamp conference welcomes educators from across the region to explore practical strategies for literacy, STEM, and everyday classroom success while learning more about the wealth of free Nine PBS resources to support classroom learning.
Last year, Nine PBS hosted nearly 20 professional development opportunities for educators, supporting nearly 350 educators and impacting 5,250 children.
