St. LouisMOFebruary 18, 2025—Nine PBS announces the second season of Emmy Award-nominated podcast Listen, St. Louis with Carol Daniel. In this local podcast and YouTube series, Senior Producer and St. Louis media veteran Carol Daniel interviews a wide range of local people and organizations in conversations aimed at providing context and clarity about issues in the St. Louis community. Listen, St. Louis represents often unheard voices, exploring complex issues with people working to help our region thrive.

“The first season of Listen, St. Louis was such a powerful experience,” said Daniel. “Connecting with people from all over the region unearthed challenges and struggles, but also clarity and understanding. This season, I’m ready to ask the questions our community wants to hear and continue charting a path forward for St. Louis.”

Season two begins with Dr. Priscilla A. Dowden-White, Associate Professor of History at the University of Missouri–St. Louis in a discussion about the Great Migration and how this historic movement impacted St. Louis. Upcoming episodes feature Eric D. Seals and Donnie Seals of the upcoming documentary, Bike Vessel, as well as a special 314 Day themed episode with St. Louis’s own Cedric the Entertainer.

New episodes of Listen, St. Louis with Carol Daniel will be available biweekly. Listen on all major podcast networks, including iTunes, Spotify, Google Play, and TuneIn, or experience the podcast on YouTube. Visit ninepbs.org/listenstlouis for more information.
