St. Louis, MO—December 6, 2021—Nine PBS is among 75 public media stations selected to participate in the Digital Transformation Program, a virtual program developed by the Poynter Institute, a leader in journalism education, to sustain innovation in the digital space and promote media that is reflective of public media’s diverse communities.
“We are an essential institution in the St. Louis region. Having the tools to listen, share, and engage audiences across all platforms will only make us more relevant. We’re thrilled to be selected for this opportunity,” says Amy Shaw, Nine PBS president and CEO.
The Digital Transformation Program will educate, assist, and coach Nine PBS senior leaders and their teams on the best strategies and tactics to transform their organization’s digital operations and culture. The training is funded by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB). The first cohort will begin training in January.
