Join Nine PBS and Kansas City PBS for a screening of Innocence Should Be Enough at Hi-Pointe Theater, featuring local organizations and a panel discussion to follow.
Kansas City PBS has created a profound new documentary, Innocence Should Be Enough: Clemency in the Midwest. What happens when an innocent person is sentenced to spend their life in prison? Unfortunately, innocence alone isn’t enough to overturn a conviction in Missouri and Kansas. From filmmaker Solomon Shields, Innocence Should Be Enough examines the shocking flaws in the justice system by highlighting the work of the Midwest Innocence Project and the personal stories of those wrongfully convicted.
