The Nine PBS team rose to the challenge in 2020. We used our assets and resources as an essential community institution to uplift the people of our region. Our 2020 Annual Report to the Community reflects our team’s accomplishments producing stories that move us.
Despite the pandemic, we expanded ways to watch your favorite PBS programs in 2020. People needed a respite from the onslaught of news, and we were there, on multiple platforms, to help our community understand and find joy in our world. We supported at-home learning for children and adults. We aired poignant local specials about living through the pandemic and recorded community members’ hopes and fears as digital content.
The report highlights the impactful work of our Early Education and Workforce Development Initiatives, local series and specials, national content, virtual community events, and provides a list of community supporters and the state of our finances.
