Nine PBS Magazine - May/June 2025 Issue

Email share

In the May/June issue we explain how we are funded. Thirteen percent of our funding comes from the federal government, which makes services like public safety, education, and content that keeps our community connected possible.

Plus, June kicks off Dinosaur Week, starting with the new six-part series, Walking with Dinosaurs; three new local series you should be watching; June Storytime in the Commons, and our Early Learning Initiative’s focus on exposure to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) concepts.

The magazine also includes program listings, content highlights, including premieres and new series, like What Do I Do With This? on YouTube. Watch international dramas and entire seasons of select series (like Miss Austen) before broadcast when you become a member and activate PBS Passport.

Please note: The national broadcast schedule sometimes changes after printing the magazine. The best way to keep up to date with the schedule is by checking your television’s on-screen guide, going to our online schedule, or reading our weekly Nine PBS Highlights e-newsletter.
