African American Schoolhouse
A school built for African-American students in 1894 in Chesterfield has been disassembled and moved to Faust Park. The staff shows what is being done to preserve and restore the hundreds of pieces and how they will know exactly where those pieces will go when the schoolhouse is rebuilt in the historic village.

Lead mining played an important role in Missouri’s history, and that story is told at a closed mine that is now a state historic site.
