Rain or Shine, Nature Fun Was on the Forecast!

A little rain couldn’t dampen our spirits—or the fun! On June 14, more than 200 kids and families braved the drizzle to join us for Storytime in the Commons: Nature Adventures, and it was well worth it.

The event was packed with hands-on science and nature-themed activities perfect for curious young explorers. Plus, it wouldn’t be a true PBS KIDS celebration without some star power—Nature Cat and Elinor (from Nature Cat and Elinor Wonders Why) made special appearances that brought big smiles to little faces!

We also offered an exclusive sneak peek of Weather Hunters, a brand-new animated series from Al Roker Entertainment that’s all about weather, curiosity, and fun. Mark your calendars—this exciting show premieres September 8!

Huge thanks to our amazing partners: St. Louis Public Library, the Saint Louis Science Center, EarthDance Organic Farm School, Grow Native! and the Missouri Prairie Foundation, Seed St. Louis, and our generous sponsors The Magic House and Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers – One Love.
