St. Louis, MO—May 23, 2024—This week, Nine PBS welcomed two senior level additions to its individual giving team: Shamed Dogan and Lesley Walker.

Shamed Dogan has served more than 20 years as a nonprofit fundraiser and administrator and a public servant, including four terms in the Missouri House of Representatives representing the 98th District in St. Louis County and three years as Alderman for the city of Ballwin. Before serving in elected office, Dogan worked as a fundraiser for Washington University in St. Louis and as a legislative assistant to U.S. Senator Jim Talent. He is a graduate of Yale University and a native of Northwoods in north St. Louis County.

Lesley Walker brings more than 10 years of donor and client management experience. Most recently, she served two years as a development manager for Texas Cultural Trust, cultivating major gifts, managing foundation and corporate relations, and overseeing and expanding membership programs. She also served in development roles at Preservation Austin, Blanton Museum of Art, and Link Auction Galleries. Walker is a St. Louis-area native with a bachelor’s degree from Webster University and master’s degree from University of Missouri-Kansas City.

“We are thrilled to have Shamed and Lesley as new leaders on our individual giving team,” said Amy Turck, Vice President and Chief Individual Giving Officer, Nine PBS. “As we celebrate Nine PBS’s 70th birthday and our essential role in the St. Louis community, we know the great importance of strengthening our short- and long-term fundraising strategies. Together, Shamed and Lesley bring a wealth of diverse experience that will serve our team now and in the future.”
