This new digital series helps us better understand sustainability and how to be Earth-conscious every day. Learn about specific household items that you might commonly question whether to recycle, donate, or throw away. We’ll also hear about strategies for reducing consumption and creative ways to reuse what you already have. Host and producer Brooke Butler will demystify the process and tackle electronics, furniture, chemicals, fabrics, and more.
Available now, Episode 1 gives us a behind-the-scenes tour at Republic Services recycling plant for a look at how recyclable items are processed. Hear from the experts at Brightside St. Louis and St. Louis City Recycles on the dos and don’ts of recycling. Find out how consumer waste affects our climate and learn about creative ways to reuse materials.
